The Big Data Explosion
The big-data-world, it seems, is jumping on the data-virtualization-bandwagon.
According to Gartner, “By 2018, organizations with data virtualization capabilities will spend 40% less on building and managing data integration processes for connecting distributed data assets.”1 This solidifies data virtualization as a critical piece of technology integral to flexible and agile modern data architecture.
At the recent Gartner Data & Analytics Conference in Texas, Gartner referenced data virtualization during their opening keynote. And analysts and customers presented at this conference on big data and data virtualization topics, in packed halls where there was ‘standing room only’.
Forrester has also chosen Denodo as one of the prominent Big Data Fabric platforms. According to the Forrester Wave Big Data Fabric Q4 2016, “Big data initiatives are on the rise as organizations focus on rolling out actionable insights.”
As we see the same trend across our diverse customer base, we are excited to host our second Fast Data Strategy Virtual Summit, continuing the momentum of our conference in 2016 and with a specific focus on Big Data Fabric.
This years’ Fast Data Strategy Virtual Summit also welcomed 12 Denodo partners who were exhibiting and participating as sponsors, virtual exhibitors, and speakers. A warm welcome and a special thank you to: EOH, HCL, Hortonworks, Infosys, Kadenza, Looker, MicroStrategy, Semarchy, SimplicityBI, Snowflake, Tableau and HPE Vertica.
The Denodo Partner Program is a global ecosystem of people, technologies and services designed to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality of service, support, training and technical compatibility in the industry. Our partners are critical to our success and we were proud to join hands with them for the Fast Data Strategy Virtual Summit.
Our exhibitors are looking forward to engaging with you at the summit. I encourage you to visit their booths, engage in online-conversation, or catch one of their sessions which are now on-demand.
